Dixon Hall Music School is a school of “firsts.” First experience playing an instrument, first public performance, first place in the Kiwanis Festival, first time in the country (our summer music camp), and first concert at Roy Thompson Hall. And since 1978, Dixon Hall Music School has been offering these experiences to thousands of young people from Regent Park, Moss Park and the St. Lawrence neighbourhood.
Dixon Hall Music School is home to over 260 students from numerous ethnic groups. For as low as $3 per lesson, students receive individual encouragement and attention from highly qualified and dedicated teachers in a welcoming, friendly environment. Students can also rent instruments (pianos, keyboards, violins, drum sets etc.) for as little as $3 per month. This unique experience of the arts is a lifeline for families from a particularly low income area of Toronto.

Since 1978 Dixon Hall Music School has provided so many firsts for a group of kids that are second to none.
