Summer Day Camp
Since the 1930’s Dixon Hall has recognized the importance of providing a safe, fun environment for kids during the summer months, and the value of giving inner city youth a chance to escape the city and experience the outdoors. The Dixon Hall Summer Day Camp now provides daily programming for 120 kids each summer. We employ around 20 youth from Regent Park to help run our Day Camp, which gives children ages 3 – 12 a safe, fun and engaging environment in which they can learn, grow and make new friends. Activities include sports, arts, crafts, camping trips, good food and great fun.
Camp is definitely about having fun, but it is also about growing up, learning how to interact with others and sharing experiences that will last a lifetime. Dixon Hall Summer Camp provides kids with positive social skills, new experiences and good memories.
