Graffiti Mural

Graffiti Mural In the Dixon Hall Graffiti Project, youth ages 15-21 create beautiful and meaningful murals that are displayed on the walls of Regent Park. These murals allow the youth to express their feelings and to deal with upheaval and violence in their community in a positive and productive way.

The Graffiti Project increases teamwork among youth, highlighting the benefits of working together toward a common goal, with an educational and experiential focus. The overall goal of the project has been to cultivate confidence and strong social and employment skills in youth, while developing their artistic and communicative skills. The youth learn how to plan projects according to the needs of clients, develop work plans and work within time lines.
