Mill Centre
Working in partnership with George Brown College and other non-profit community agencies the Mill Centre provides carpentry and home renovation training to a diverse group of participants. Drawing on its history of providing technical skills development to marginalized community members the Mill Centre has expanded its reach through these innovative partnerships and currently works with over fifty individuals each year. These partnerships ensure that participants receive the necessary academic upgrading, carpentry training and employability and life skills enhancement to rebuild their lives and successfully enter the labour market.
